Christians have worshipped in the Church of St James The Great, Thorley, for over 750 years, and we are grateful for that heritage.
Our desire is to understand more fully what Christ calls us to be, and to make him known;
to offer a welcome to all who seek to know him;
and to give encouragement to the people of the community around us in their journey through life.
The things that are the centre of who we are at St James include:
the celebration of the eucharist, the preaching of the word, worship,
pastoral care to both church and wider community,
small group fellowships, community projects,
the Alpha programme for those seeking to know more about the basics of our christian faith, and making the young people in the church and wider community the focus of our care.
